In 2012 Afrika Kusini was born out of a desire to change lives through wellness and healthy living. After a health scare caused by the demands of a successful business in the city, Zoné Meiring and her family moved to Kenton On Sea in the Eastern Cape of South Africa to slow down the pace of life and focus on a healthy lifestyle. Zuney’s real names are actually Maria Elizabeth but upon arrival back home after she was born her older sister decided that ‘Zuney’ suited her better, so it stuck.

Zuney is the inspiration behind Afrika Kusini. She is a highly-qualified wellness and beauty therapist with in-depth training in wellness therapy, sports massages, nail technology, skin care, corneotherapy, aromatherapy, laser therapy, derma needling, skin healing, lipo cavitation, lipolysis, body art, nutrition and fitness.
